The City of Phoenix (COP) is seeking a qualified consultant to provide Engineering services on the COP’s large diameter sanitary sewer pipelines and manholes focusing on National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Grade 4 & Grade 5 infrastructure as per the 2026 Condition Assessment Report that is set to be completed in 2026. Services will include design and possible construction administration and inspection for Cured-In-Place lined pipelines, amongst other materials, and associated manholes. Rehabilitation projects are located at multiple locations within the COP right-of-way or easements.
There are approximately 25 NASSCO Grade 5 and Grade 4 pipe segments (over 5,670 feet) and 56 Grade 5 and Grade 4 manholes ready for design and rehabilitation recommendation. Sewer pipe sizes generally range from 15-inches to 60-inches in diameter. Manholes include standard pre-cast concrete manholes, brick manholes and cast-in-place junction structures. The manholes vary in depth and have different corrosion protection materials, including Polyvinyl chloride-lining and epoxy coating. Services may include programming/prioritizing, preparation of documents for permitting and/or clarification, purposes, collaboration with contractor for rehabilitation solutions, and construction administration services. Rehabilitation projects are located at multiple locations within the City of Phoenix right-of-way or easements.
