RFP for Submerge Marine Science Festival Event Production Services

The Hudson River Park Trust is a public benefit corporation and a 501(c)(3) charitable organization created by act of the New York State Legislature. The mission of the Trust is to design, construct, maintain and operate a heavily used four-mile-long waterfront park and estuarine sanctuary on Manhattan’s West Side.

The Trust is committed to its stewardship of the 400-acre Estuarine Sanctuary, which includes promoting awareness of the estuarine environment for the millions of New Yorkers who enjoy the Park, including its waters, each year. The Trust’s River Project educates over 30,000 people each year through free and low-cost programming that connect people of all ages to our local waterways and inspire the next generation of Hudson River stewards.

Hudson River Park’s SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival (“Festival”) is one way the Park brings together this mission to educate, engage and promote the Sanctuary. This interactive science festival invites the public to explore water topics through hands-on science demonstrations and family friendly entertainment. SUBMERGE brings marine science to life as participants learn about NYC’s coastal waters from the Trust’s River Project team and up to sixty (60) regional STEM experts.

Project Description: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the Trust seeks to solicit quotes from experienced producers and/or production companies to provide production services for the Festival, included but not limited to the contracting and management of Production Staff, Talent, Vendors, Catering, Security, Rentals and other Infrastructure (together, the “Services”).
