GCS BOA Delta Support Equipment Procurement

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) modification to contract N0001922G0006-N0001923F0021 to General Atomics – Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, California, procuring Non-recurring engineering to address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues on the MQ-9A Block 30 Ground Control Station. The DMSMS items include, but are not limited to the SCD01316-3 Juniper Circuit to Packet, EM5000S Generator, Portable, P12489 Depth Gage, and P00845 Triple Output Power Supply. The modification also procures additional support equipment for MQ-9 squadrons.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government.
