Description

Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) as part of The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD)requires support in the modernization of the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) web site.

The TCS has been mandated by the Government of Canada to undertake a digital transformation to modernize its client experience, service delivery and business model, and move from a mainly analogue to a user-centred digital-enabled operation. A key element of a modernized TCS is to provide information, resources, and services in the digital environment, including online and via social media.

DFATD has identified a requirement for one (1) communications consultant to work on a project that will involve optimizing hundreds of pages of web content. This content strategy work involves web content optimization, information architecture (IA) placement, curation of redundant, outdated and trivial content (ROT), planning, research and inventory management for the Tradecommissioner.gc.ca web assets, including MyTCS feature and related content for Canada.ca.
