NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Dual Beam X-Ray Scanner, Installation and User Training.
DND requires the purchase of a dual beam X-Ray Scanner, including installation and user training for up to ten (10) individuals.
All the deliverables must be received on or before 31 March 2025.
Delivery of the items is within Ottawa, Ontario.
Detailed specifications of the required dual bean X-Ray scanner, including installation and user training can be found at Annex “Statement of Requirement” of the attached Solicitation of Offers.

Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Canadian Content: The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.
Nature of Requirement: The Department of National Defence (DND), CFIOG is responsible for conducting of security screening activities of parcels and containers entering the controlled access areas of Canadian Forces Station (CFS) Leitrim.
In order to facilitate these activities, CFIOG requires the purchase of a dual beam X-Ray Scanner, including user training for up to ten (10) individuals, in order to enhance its security posture of CFS Leitrim.
Delivery Date: 31 March 2025
Competitive Procurement Strategy: For Canada to declare an offer compliant, the offer must comply with the requirements of the solicitation of offers and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria. Canada will consider the compliant offer with the lowest evaluated price for award.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
