SUBJECT: Notice Intend to Award Sole-Source Contractor. 18 February 2025

The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Fort Huachuca Division intends to award a sole-source contract to Amplifier Research Corporation AR RF/ Microwave Instrument located at 160 Schoolhouse Road, Souderton, PA 18964. The requirement is to procure an in-depth on-site inspection, calibration, repairs, and preventive maintenance of the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Test Facility (E3TF) collection of AR PA. service.

The proprietary equipment to AR Amplifier Research Corporation, AR RF / Microwave Instrumentation for this type of amplifiers that demonstrates a unique required source; no one else has the necessary knowledge and associated equipment to trouble shoot the amplifiers. If an alternate vendor(s) within the industry is considered by authorize technician(s) and AR Amplifier Research Corporation verified. Past performance and qualified experience should be considered & that previous history for the above stated proprietary equipment for this service. The contractor shall conduct an in-depth on-site inspection, calibration, repairs, and preventive maintenance of the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Test Facility (E3TF) collection of AR Amplifiers located at Electronic Proving Ground (EPG), Fort Huachuca, AZ.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 (Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing). This Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Contract is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. All information received from this notice shall be used for planning and market research purposes only. The determination to refrain from competing proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information.

Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received. Interested parties may express interest and provide your company’s capability statement, no later than 24 February 2025 at 09:00 AM Arizona Time. (Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time).
