The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) Office of Sexual Health and Youth Development (OSHYD) in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) proposes to provide services to expectant and parenting youth ages 14 to 25 and their families to increase life opportunities, enhance family stability, and housing stability in priority communities. OSHYD intends to award approximately six community based organizations committed to our shared values of racial justice, reproductive justice, evidence-based informed practices, trauma informed care, health equity, data driven programming, and sustainability approximately $300,000 per year, to provide programming rooted in positive youth development proven to decrease health outcomes negatively affecting child and adolescent development.
