Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area, Range Management Research in Las Cruces, NM has a requirement to drill a water well for livestock. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and transportation to perform all required work in accordance with the Statement of Work. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 - $100,000.

USDA-ARS will issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contract by Negotiation and FAR Part 36 Construction Contracts. USDA is anticipating this being 100% set-aside for total small business. The NAICS Code is anticipated to be 237110 – Water and Sewer Line Costruction Contractors with a size standard of $39.5M. Completion must be before December 31, 2025.

Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and FAR Provision 52.204-8 (USDA Deviation Feb 2025). No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
