ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
One (1) New Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Vehicle
In accordance with the provisions of La. R.S 38:2212.1, notice is hereby given that the Lafayette Airport Commission will receive sealed Bids until 9:00 a.m., on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the offices of the Lafayette Airport Commission, 200 Terminal Drive, Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70508, for the Purchase, of one (1) NEW Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Vehicle, as fully described in “Appendix A and B” of the Bid Document.
Bids will be received on the form provided for this Bid Document. Only sealed and online Bids will be considered at opening time. Bids received after the deadline for receiving bids will be returned unopened.
The Bid Document may be obtained at the office of the Lafayette Airport Commission, 200 Terminal Drive, Suite 200, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508, (337) 703-4800, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Each interested party requesting a printed Bid Document will be required to submit, to the Lafayette Airport Commission, a Fifty and No/100th dollars ($50.00) non-refundable deposit to cover the cost of reproduction. The Bid Document in PDF format may be obtained by email, at no cost, by sending a request to Jennifer Comeaux at [email protected] . The Bid Document is also available online and may also be submitted online at: https://www.centralauctionhouse.com. The LAC does not assume any responsibility for Bidders’ errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of the Bid Document.

Any questions regarding the Bid Document must be submitted, in writing, no later than 09:00 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024, and sent to [email protected] . Responses will be issued to all interested parties in the form of an addendum. Any revision of the Bid Document made as a result any questions received, shall not be valid unless included in an addendum issued in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The LAC reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid or any formalities in this Bid Document, to cancel this solicitation, to reject any or all Bids, to re-advertise for Bids, and/or to accept the Bid which, in the judgement of the LAC, even though it does not offer the lowest direct expenditure, is nevertheless deemed the most advantageous for the public and the LAC, i.e., the most responsible Bid. The LAC, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit Bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award /s/ Steven L Picou, A.A.E., A.C.E
