The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command-New Jersey at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of the Department of Army Criminal Investigations Division plans to award a contract for one Commercial Heavy Armored Vehicle (CHAV). The period of performance is one year plus warranties.
Requirement: A Firm Fixed Price contract, for the procurement and delivery of one (1) CHAV. The vehicle must be Level D, heavy armored, new, Black, 6.2L, V8 engine, 4X4, Chevrolet Suburban or equivalent chassis, model year 2024 or beyond. The base vehicle must be purchased and manufactured in the United States (US). The vehicle production facility must be located in the Continental US, have in-house armouring and 24 secure storage of the vehicle, throughout the production period. Cage codes, facility and safeguarding clearances must be valid and provided for all production facilities not co-located with contractor’s primary or headquarter site or which have a different cage code. The contractor shall already possess a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Secret level facility and safeguarding clearance for the production site. Responses shall include the date of the last DCSA visit and the contact information for the DCSA assigned security officer.
SUBMISSION INFORMATION: Eligible Offerors who believe they are capable of providing the required commercial heavy Level D armored vehicle are invited to indicate their interest by providing the Government a brief summary (less than five pages) of their company’s capabilities, personnel, and prior experience. Offerors should include any previous Government contracts including the contract number, period of performance, Government point of contact for the contract, and a brief summary of the work provided under the contract. Please identify the subject of your response as, “ CID CHAV RFI Submission”. Submissions should be received within 15 days from this posting (October 18, 2024) and sent to stephanie.g.kless.civ@army.mil and stacey.r.conner.civ@army.mil.
