Project Description: Issuing and Conducting Procurement Unit: Granite School District
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to enter into a contract to provide frozen potato products according to the attached specifications. Please read all attached specifications and documents.
We are using Federal Funds.
*Granite School District (GSD) reserves the right to determine if alternative/substitute products meet the required specifications and/or school need.
Granite prefers direct ship.
This RFP will be conducted in phases. At bid close, bidders must submit pricing, all required documents and information specified in U3P, and nutrition labels/Product Formulation Statements (PFS). Nutrition labels and PFS will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. Only products that pass this evaluation will be eligible for sample submission, which will be requested for the RFP evaluation. This phased approach ensures that only qualified samples are considered, reducing waste from non-compliant products.
It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest score justified by the procurement code.
Contract Term: The contract will commence upon award and remain in effect for one (1) year, with the option for up to four (4) additional one-year renewals, subject to mutual agreement by both parties.
