A contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder offering the lowest responsive bid for each manufacturer’s current published catalog and current published price list, as determined by the Director, Office of Procurement. The lowest bid for each manufacturer’s current published catalog and current published price list will be determined by the highest discount for that manufacturer’s current published catalog and current published price list. A bidder may submit a bid for more than one manufacturer listed. If multiple responsive bids are received from responsible bidders that have the same discount for the same manufacturer’s current published catalog and current published price list, the County will determine the award for the tie bids in accordance with the Montgomery County Procurement Regulations.

If multiple responsive bids are received from responsible bidders that have the same discount, but a different published catalog and/or published price list for the same manufacturer, the County will take a sample of catalog items and compare prices to determine the bidder submitting the lowest price to the County.

The County has the option to award any or none of the optional catalogs.
