RFP for Professional Auditing Services for Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel Systems (CAPPS)

Pursuant to Chapter 403 and Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, ofthe Texas Government Code, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts(“Comptroller”) announces its Request for Proposals No. 238f (“RFP”) for ProfessionalAuditing Services for Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System(CAPPS). Successful Respondent will conduct an audit resulting in a Statement onStandards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE-18) SOC 1 Type II of Comptroller’sCentralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) as described in theRFP. The Successful Respondentshall provide all Services in compliance with all requirements of the RFP and anyContract resulting from the RFP. The selected Respondent, if any, will beexpected to begin performance of the contract on or about February 1, 2025, oras soon thereafter as practical.

The anticipated schedule of events pertaining to this solicitationis as follows: Issuance of RFP – October18, 2024, after 10:00 a.m. CT; Questions Due – November 5, 2024, 2:00 p.m. CT;Official Responses to Questions posted – November 7, 2024; Proposals Due – November19, 2024, 2:00 p.m. CT; Contract Execution – January 17, 2025, or as soonthereafter as practical; Commencement of Work – February 1, 2025. Comptrollerreserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the dates listed for theanticipated schedule of events. Anyamendment to this solicitation will be posted on the ESBD as a RFP Addendum. Thecomplete RFP is attached to this Notice. Closing Date: Proposals must be received in the Legal Counsel’s Officeat the physical address specified above no later than 2:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, November19, 2024. Late proposals will not beconsidered. It is the responsibility of interested partiesto periodically check the ESBD for updates to the RFP prior to submitting aproposal.
