20 MAR: Note: It is permissible to join as many proposals as you would like within each RAPID program TA or across TAs. While there is statutory language that may suggest ARPA-H is limited in the number of awards it may make to one entity, there are circumstances in which ARPA-H may make more than three awards to a particular person or organization. ARPA-H encourages organizations to submit their research ideas notwithstanding this perceived limitation. This guidance supersedes the limitation noted in an earlier version of the FAQs published on the RAPID program webpage and in the Proposers' Day video. Both resources have been updated accordingly.

14 MAR: The deadline for proposals to the RAPID program (ARPA-H-SOL-25-119) is extended to April 24, 2025 05:00 pm EDT. Feedback on Solution Summaries is expected to be sent out the week of March 17-21, 2025.

Amendment 1 changes:

-The full proposal due date was extended to April 24, 2025

-All times were updated from EST to EDT

Visit the RAPID Program Page for additional materials and program updates.

21 FEB: The RAPID Patients’ Day (ARPA-H-SN-25-127) event is now CANCELLED. The RAPID team will post a video and other information when possible. Questions sent to RAPID@arpa-h.gov will be answered as soon as the RAPID team is able to respond.

23 JAN: Due to circumstances outside of ARPA-H’s control, the RAPID Proposers’ Day event is now CANCELLED. Questions sent to RAPID@arpa-h.gov ARE UNABLE TO BE ANSWERED AT THIS TIME.

22 JAN: RAPID proposers intending to participate in the RAPID Proposers' Day are encouraged to review ARPA-H Special Notice ARPA-H-SN-25-124. Due to circumstances outside of ARPA-H’s control, the RAPID Proposers’ Day event will now occur only virtually. Verified/accepted participants are encouraged to verify they have received the Zoom link/invitation. Questions sent to RAPID@arpa-h.gov will be addressed as quickly as possible.

The is the final ISO for the RAPID program. RAPID aims to end or significantly reduce the prolonged diagnostic odysseys affecting millions of rare disease patients worldwide. RAPID seeks to develop novel diagnostic support tools for population-scale rare disease detection, systematically identifying and diagnosing rare disease patients more efficiently and accurately.
