SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE MOBILE DENTAL SERVICES
Request for Information (RFI)
INTRODUCTION
The New York Army National Guard (NYARNG) Purchasing and Contracting Department is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide mobile dental services.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. No feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.

This is not a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government to acquire any products, construction, or services. The information requested by RFI will be used within the New York National Guard to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the Federal Government. Any information provided to the government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the government. The Government reserves the right to decide whether or not a small business set aside is appropriate base on response to this notice.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, certifications and supplies necessary to provide all listed services in compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, Radiologically-Compliant, OSHA, stand-alone environment and quality control necessary, to perform Mobile Dental Services.
Oral health is vital for force health protection. Failure to achieve a standard of oral health could preclude a Soldier from deploying. Dental Readiness is a command responsibility. DoD established a uniform dental classification in HA Policy 02-11. DoD policy requires dental screening examinations to be accomplished and documented on 95% of service members. Members of the Army National Guard shall receive an annual dental screening examination to determine their dental classification. The results of that screening examination shall be entered into the DENCLASS database onsite live. The DENCLASS database updates the Army Medical Protection System (MEDPROS).
