Description

The requirement is for safe, reliable and functional Constant Wear, Dry-type, Immersion Suit Systems (CWISS) for use by all personnel and passengers aboard Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) helicopters and all CCG personnel aboard non-CCG helicopters chartered for CCG operations. The CWISS will enhance safety in the unlikely event of a helicopter ditching scenario.
The estimated usage throughout the Standing Offer period will be 100 units per year, including option years.
The CWISS will be delivered to the following destinations:
Various CCG sites in St. John’s NL, Shearwater NS, Quebec City, QC, Victoria and Prince Rupert BC and surrounding locations.
The period of the standing offer is for three (3) years with a possibility of two (2) one (1) year extensions.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
