APL(S) 73 Post Award Synopsis/Justification

Award Amount: $69,607,000

Contractor: Bollinger Mississippi Shipyards (BMS)

Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price

Description: The contract is awarded to Bollinger Mississippi Shipyards (BMS) for Design, Development, and Construction (DD&C) of an APL(S), designated APL 73. The award supports the urgent requirement of delivering additional barge to the fleet supporting the crucial need for Quality of Service (QoS).
