The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program has a requirement to modernize the Wattmeter Calibrator Systems (WCS) and procure a Primary Lab Wattmeter Calibration System (PLWCS). The current Wattmeter Calibration System has been in service for over 40 years and needs to be modernized. The modernized WCS will be used in shore-based laboratories to calibrate the same workload and increase the range, accuracy and precision of the measurement areas. The PLWCS will be used in shore-based laboratories to calibrate the WCS and higher accuracy Wattmeter workload.
It is requested that all interested parties who can provide the required items to respond with a Capability Statement and Rough Order of Magnitude. The Capability Statement shall also include the infromation found on the "Sources Sought Notice Attachment."
Please provide your response to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 1300 Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday, 22 April 2025 to the Procurement Specialist, Taylor O’Neal, via email taylor.a.oneal7.civ@us.navy.mil. Email should reference Sources Sought Notice N6426725R1015 in the subject line.
The information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business, socioeconomic set-aside, competitive or non-competitive method is possible, and to determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government's requirement. All organizations with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice.
