Amendment to RFQ #36C25925Q0158 Deadline for quotes remains 4/17/25 by 12:00pm MST.
Q&A:
Q: Is there construction associated with this project?
A: Yes. The awarded vendor will need to work with contractor from an awarded site prep contract for coordination of roof reinforcement and installation of new lifts.
Q: Are Ceiling tiles 1x1 foot?
A: No ceiling tiles are 2ft x 4ft.
Q: Do all five (5) rooms already have lift systems installed?
A: No. One out of the five rooms (#138) will be a new installation. The other four (4) rooms currently have patient lift systems that will be removed by another entity. The other four rooms with existing ceiling mounted patient lift systems are: #143, #144, #146, and #109
Q: Will room 109 remain a quad room or are there plans to split the room?
A: No. Room 109 will remain a quad room.
Q: Is there concrete above the roof in the CLC? How thick is it?
A: Yes, the roof is made of a concrete pan. We do not currently know how thick it is.
Q: Will structural support be needed between the roof and the rails.
A: Yes, the separate contract for site preparation will reinforce the joists in the roof and thus old rail supports will be removed. The vendor awarded the contract for this requirement will need to supply new connections from joists to new rails as part of the full system replacement.
