The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This is a new requirement to palletize, mark/label, pick up, transport and demilitarize/dispose of conventional munitions by a recognized industry standard method complying with all State and Federal laws for a variety of conventional munitions. An approved industry standard method includes, where appropriate, flashing in the thermal treatment unit for pyrotechnics, detonation, etc. Title (i.e. ownership) of components is transferred to the contractor for disposal when fully demilitarized. This will be a single award IDIQ contract.
