SUBJECT: Addendum No. 1
Bid:
Airport Terminal Building Demolition
Bids Due: Wednesday, February 4, 2025 11:00 A.M. Local Time
The following revisions shall be made to the contract, whether or not received by all bidders of
record:
The following additions were made to the demolition requirements:
1. Construction activity control and operation area protection shall be accomplished in
accordance with FAA Advisory Circular No. 150/5370-2F.
2. Access to the airport apron area is not permitted unless prior approval is received
from the City. If it is determined that the Contractor needs to encroach on the
apron area to accomplish the work, the following shall apply:
a. Work on the apron area shall be accomplished by barricading the locations
where work will be performed to separate taxiing aircraft from the
Contractor’s workmen and construction equipment. Lighted barricades shall
be equipped with red flashing lights. The Contractor shall furnish, maintain,
and remove all barricades required to delineate the work area and keep
aircraft from encroaching into the work area. This requirement shall be
considered incidental to the contract and no additional compensation
3. Flags will be required on all Contractor’s vehicle and equipment used on the airport
operations area and construction site. The flags shall be three (3) foot square
checkered flags (International orange and white) displayed in full view above the
vehicle.
4. The maximum construction equipment height utilized on the airport for this project
shall be 35 feet. Any construction equipment anticipated to exceed this height shall
be approved by the City and their Airport Engineer of record for coordination with
the FAA.
5. Upon receiving a notice of intent to award from the City, the awarded contractor
shall complete and submit FAA Form 7460-1.
All bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum.
