This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE in support of the Veterans Affairs American Lake Campus, Tacoma, WA for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the requirement described below.

Subject 663A4-22-202 Install Sprinkler and Water Main

Description:
The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment for demolition, removal, and new construction in the vicinity of Building 16 to provide a wet fire suppression system for the occupied floors of the structure (Covered Patio, 1st and 2nd) and a dry fire suppression system for the unoccupied areas of the facility excluding crawl space. The new system shall provide an adequate back-flow prevention devices, position indicator valve, associated fittings, the addition of a two-inch isolation valve to the buildings main potable water service line, Fire Department Connection (FDC) point, and associated support as details will be provided in the Drawings and Specs.

The new fire suppression system will be servicing approximately 6,000GSF spaces in Building 16.

The materials to be installed shall be new and installed per Manufacturer s Installation instructions. Complete all work within 249 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP) including final cleaning, inspections, corrections, and demobilization from the project site.

Anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The largest a firm can be and still qualify as a small business for Federal Government programs is a size standard of $45.0M.

Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information (1-4):
