PROGRAM SCOPE:
The 2035 Master Plan accounts for nearly 15,000 beds of student housing to accommodate the first and second year live-on requirements as well as maintaining housing for transfer and returning upper division students. To begin to meet this need, the University intends to design and construct three (3) new student housing projects at the current North Mountain and K-2 parking sites and renovate six (6) existing residential halls at the current South Mountain site.

Presently, the intent is to use a phased approach for three new construction projects and six renovation projects over the course of the ten-year Program, starting design in January 2024. Projects would be completed strategically to reduce the impact to campus life and allow for students to continue with no interruption.

Preliminary Design-Build cost estimates for the three new housing projects range from $175M to $275M each, with the six renovation projects ranging from $24M to $31M each.
