SMALL PROJECT FUND REQUEST FOR QUOTES
Project Name: Copy Boy Façade Refresh
Project Address: 11-13 W. Third Street, Dunkirk, New York 14048

SCOPE OF WORK
Façade improvements to an 8,100 sq. ft. building, which includes:
• Removal of outdated façade materials and thorough cleaning of the building exterior.
• Structural repairs to address any cracks, voids, or weather-related damage on all elevations.
• Re-tar shingle seams on the roof line and re-caulk the drip edge well.
• Rinse building complete
• Scrape all loose and peeling paint.
• Synergy patch a few areas in drysuit around store front entrance
• Prime all areas needed
• Caulk open gaps
• Repaint building complete with two (2) coats of Sherwin-Williams Exterior Super Satin paint.
• Paint loading dock stairway and store front windows with industrial black oil, and the top of the sign.
• Apply Sherwin-Williams Safety Yellow paint to the bollards and double doors adjacent to the overhead door.
• Installation of premium, visually striking cladding to enhance the building’s architectural presence.
Windows
• To improve the aesthetic quality of 18 wood-covered windows and replace the wood cover with Cellular PVC or
Composite material. The project will incorporate graphics featuring scenic landscapes, abstract designs, or patterns
that harmonize with the architectural style of the building. The window dimensions are as follows:
o 10 – 40 x 78
o 4 – 24 x 86
o 2 – 40 x 60
o 2 – 40 x 22
Signage
• Permanently affixed signage-sided 36” x 288” signage and installation for the west side of the property.
All work must be performed by licensed professionals in accordance with local building codes and regulations. All vendors
must provide two (2) references and proof of proper insurance, including general liability coverage of at least $1 million and
workers' compensation coverage. The City of Dunkirk, the State of New York, and the Housing Trust Fund Corporation must
be listed as additional insured. Within 60 days of selection, the property/business owner will enter into a work contract with
the lowest responsible vendor. If the property/business owner chooses a quote other than the lowest, reimbursement will be
based on the amount of the lowest bid/proposal.
Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs)
are encouraged to submit quotes.
An environmental compliance review conducted by LaBella Associates has determined that the project does not pose any
health or safety concerns. Additionally, the review confirms that the project does not involve correcting any code violations
and aligns with established local program design guidelines.
