(R004-27) Furnish P.V.C. Pipe

Project Description: NOTICE
Sealed proposals will be received online via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 9:00 A.M. May 15, 2026. After bid opening a Public Notice will be issued via PennBid containing any available bid results for the furnishing of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) water pipe conforming with A.W.W.A. Standard C900-16.
Contract R004-27 Furnish P.V.C. Pipe for the Period JULY 1, 2026 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2026 as follows:
C900 CL235 DR18 PVC Pipe in Sizes 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30 and 36 inches
C900 CL305 DR14 PVC Pipe in Sizes 4, 6, 8, 12, 16”, 20” and 24 inches
All pipe must meet Build America Buy America (BABA), American Iron and Steel (AIS) and Steel Procurement Act requirements.
Copies of bidding forms, specifications and other contract documents will be available at no cost on the PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) website. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Vendor Discussions” tab in Messages on PennBid.
Vendors who are awarded contracts are assessed a variable award fee based on the type of contract. Term Contracts Award fee is 1/6% (.00166) of the expected value of the contract for the time period of the awarded contract. The award fee shall be no less than $100 and no greater than $5,000.
Prices quoted shall be firm for the period of JULY 1, 2026 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2026.
The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid or any portion of the bid it deems in its best interest.
