Information Technology Master Plan

The City of Indio is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to perform an update on the Information Technology Master Plan. The last Master Plan was completed in April of 2020 and many of the elements are believed to be still relevant. The objective of the Master Plan is to evaluate the current environment and to provide a strategic roadmap to align the ITD effort and resources with the City’s recently completed Strategic Plan, industry best practices and standards and with the short and long-term goals of the City, Police, and Water Authority.

The Master Plan must include the City’s Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) in its scope. In the Master Plan the City would like to look beyond the normal five (5) year span to envision what an Indio “Smart City” of the future will look like.
