The Boulder County Parks & Open Space Department (BCPOS) is seeking proposals from qualified, certified, and/or licensed Water Quality Testing Specialists. Specialists must be able to ensure compliance with all Local, State, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Water System Regulations. In addition to Water Quality Testing Services, the selected Contractor will also be required to provide maintenance for existing water treatment systems based on manufacturers’ specifications, and comply with all Local, State and Federal regulations, as well as providing maintenance, repair, or installation of new water filtration systems. The purpose of this solicitation is to have a qualified, certified, and/or licensed water quality contractor collect and test water samples, and maintain, repair, or install water filtrations systems for the Goodhue Farmhouse Meeting Facility (GFMF), approximately twenty-one (21) County owned rental houses on well water managed by BCPOS, and stormwater testing at the Argo Mine site. Tasks include, collecting and sending water samples to a certified lab for analysis on all properties specified, submitting monthly lab reports, depending on site classification to the appropriate BCPOS staff member, and prepare and submit all reports required by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), function as the Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) for the GFMF, conduct maintenance and monitoring of the GFMF water system and other systems. Additionally, the selected contractor will immediately notify BCPOS staff of any concerns, safety, or compliance issues that may arise from any water test results. Contractors must be certified and/or licensed and understand and adhere to all Local, State, and EPA Water Quality Testing Regulations. Contractors may submit a proposal for one or all sections of this RFP; however, they must hold the appropriate license. One or more contractors may be awarded for this RFP.

Addendum:
At any time prior to the Close Date, Boulder County may alter, clarify, amend, delete or add to, in
whole or in part, any terms or provisions of this proposal.
In order to afford the Bidders a reasonable time for taking into account a material amendment
(the materiality of which Boulder County in its own discretion may determine) or for any other
reason, Boulder County may, at its own discretion, extend the Close Date.
