NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Township of Montgomery on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM local prevailing time in the Court Room at the Municipal Building, 100 Community Drive, Skillman, NJ 08558 at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:
Procurement of Chemicals for Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pumping Stations
Bid documents are available electronically (PDF format) or printed copies may be obtained from the Purchasing Department during regular business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Electronic copies are available by email request to

. The prospective bidder shall provide an email address which permits delivery certification, and the requester shall confirm receipt of the bid documents in writing. All questions shall be submitted in writing to

Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided and completed in accordance with the requirements contained in the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents. Each proposal must be accompanied by all documents listed as mandatory in the Instructions to Bidders.
Sealed bids shall be submitted to Michael Pitts, Purchasing Agent, 100 Community Drive, Skillman, New Jersey 08558, in person, by mail or by messenger prior to the bid opening. The Township assumes no responsibility for loss or non-delivery of any bids sent or delivered prior to the bid opening.
Bidders must be registered with the NJ Department of Treasury pursuant to section 1 of P.L. 2001, c. 134 (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). Bidders are also required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 17:27-1 et seq. concerning affirmative action and equal employment.
The Township intends to award one or more contracts to the lowest responsible bidder(s) whose bid(s) are responsive and comply with the Township’s requirements for same, provided that in the judgment of the Township they are reasonable, within available funds and in the interest of the Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids to the extent permitted by law. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids.
