CIP-25110 Neurosciences Research Building - First Floor Upgrades

The former cagewash area on the first floor of Neurosciences Research Building is not currently utilized following construction activities from a prior capital project to renovate the second floor for a new cagewash area. Both DCM and SOM would like to renovate this first-floor area of approximately 1,500 sf, to create additional vivarium lab animal research spaces.

The University is seeking qualifications from Architect led design teams for the design of this project. Interested firms should provide one (1) PDF qualifications submittal to the UNC-CH Project Manager by 12/4/2024.

A virtual Preproposal Meeting will be held via Zoom on 11/26/2024. Please email the UNC-CH Project Manager to request the Zoom link and a Project Brief.

The current project is authorized for advance planning only. The selected firm may be retained through full design and construction at the university's option.
