The City of Newark is seeking bids from interested firms for improvements generally described as follows: “Remove and replace existing damaged concrete sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutter, valley gutter, and wheelchair accessible curb ramps; remove roots, root prune trees; and install root barriers at various locations within the City of Newark.”

The City of Newark is seeking bids from interested firms for improvements generally described as follows: “The work, in general, consists of placing approximately 453,000 square yards of type II polymer modified slurry seal on various streets as indicated in the Specifications and associated work items.”

Development of Five-Year Homelessness Action Plan

The City of Newark invites interested consulting firms to submit a proposal to assist the City with developing the City's first Five-Year Homelessness Action Plan.  Proposals must be emailed to edda.rivera@newarkca.gov by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025.
