RFP 346 - Airport Engineering Services

The County of Accomack Virginia is accepting proposals from engineers/consultants to provide professional services as required by the Accomack County Airport on as âas needed basisâ in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular No.150/5100-14E dated September 25, 2015, for professional architectural, engineering and planning services for airport development projects at the Accomack County Airport in Melfa, Virginia. The projects are anticipated for design during the next five (5) years.Respondents are advised that it is the intent of the County to submit requests for federal and state (Virginia) funding grants for all eligible work associated with the design (including environmental assessments, where applicable), development and construction of the projects; and, therefore, proposals must be responsive to the eligibility criteria for Federal and State Airport Improvement Programs. Respondents must certify compliance with all applicable federal and state requirements to which the County is obligated as a result of receiving federal and state funding assistance including the Airportâs DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) Plan for projects over $250,000.
