NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR CITY-WIDE JANITORIAL SERVICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ojai Public Works Department invites vendors to submit
bids for JANITORIAL SERVICES.
The City of Ojai Public Works Department reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any
irregularity, and award contracts in the best interests of the City.
Bid packages can be obtained at the office of the Public Works Department at 408 S Signal St, Ojai,
CA 93023 or emailed attention to: vanessa.padilla@ojai.ca.gov. Bids shall be executed on the forms
found in the bid package and in accordance with the instructions contained therein. Bids are due to
the City Clerk at 401 S Ventura St., Ojai, CA 93023 on April 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1060-1065. Contractor shall comply with the Displaced Janitor

The City reserves the right to open all bids submitted. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids,
to accept one part and reject the other, and/or award an order or orders as will best serve the interests
of the City. In the event of any such rejection, the City shall not be liable for any costs incurred in
connection with the preparation and submittal of a bid.
Incomplete or non-conforming bids will be rejected. It shall be understood, however, that no
specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any products be considered for
approval prior to award of the Contract. Changes, if any, will be made by addendum prior to opening
of Bids.
