INVITATION TO BID

Project Name: Water Tank Improvements

Project No. 25-021-CIP

The City of Dublin, Ohio will receive electronic bids for the materials and labor necessary for the

construction of the Water Tank Improvements. Bids shall be received by City of Dublin via Bid

Express until 11:00AM local time on August 26, 2026.

The City of Dublin may choose to not award the bid—and bidders shall hold bids open—until sixty

days after the bid opening. This project provides funding for various water tank improvements

identified by the City of Columbus, including removal or modifications to the Tartan West Water

Tank Tideflex System, repairs to the Darree Fields water tank wash drain and discharge

pipe, modifications to the Tartan West and Dublin Road water tank interior hatch, and other

miscellaneous improvements determined by the City of Dublin and City of Columbus. Reliability of

the water storage and distribution system is a key component of customer welfare and

satisfaction. The cost estimate for the Project is $109,800.

As a bidder, you must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation you intend to bid

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section

153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety

company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all

persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of

similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed by

November 30, 2026.

All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio

products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of

Prevailing Wage is required for this Project.

The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or

irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its

opinion, offers the lowest and best bid.

Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated

against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
