PRE-QUALIFICATION PROPOSALS in three (3) hard copies and one (1) digital copy on
USB flash drive will be received by the Owner, to the attention of Weston Glover, at the
Dothan City General Services Building at 288 Complex Drive, Dothan, AL 36303, for the
below mentioned project, until 4:00 PM Central Time, Thursday, February 20, 2025.
The project consists of:
The design of the Dothan Pickleball Complex is composed of 24 tournament-compliant
pickleball courts, 1 tournament-compliant championship court, a small utility structure composed
of CMU wall construction with a cementitious exterior, and the renovation and inclusion of
ADA-compliant modifications to the restrooms within the existing Pittman Building. This design
requires the demolition of existing tennis courts, demolition of the maintenance shop, and the
removal of asphalt in portions of the existing parking lot. The incorporation of varying numbers
of covered courts and the addition of a covered, open-air locker area and equipment vending may
be incorporated via accepted alternates.
A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE for all Bidders will be held onsite at 1603
Sealed bid proposals will be received from pre-approved General Contractors by The City of
Dothan, at the City Commission Chambers, located at 126 N Saint Andrews St, Dothan, AL
36301 until 2:00 PM CST for the base bids and all alternates on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, for the
following project:
