The City of Wheaton is seeking quotations from qualified traffic engineering firms to develop a traffic
calming report and engineering plans aimed at reducing speeding and crashes at the intersection of
Harrison Avenue and Washington Street. The selected firm will provide data analysis, a report containing
traffic calming recommendations with preliminary engineering estimate of costs, and a final engineering
design plan for a chosen traffic calming improvement that aligns with best practices in urban mobility
and traffic safety.
