Synopsis:

Scope of Work:
This Work is for safe Elevator Inspections at fixed rates, and Minor Repair Work on a time / materials basis at the Boundary Dam, Shand and Poplar River Power Plants. The primary objective of this Contract is to provide monthly preventative maintenance Work on the elevators at BDPS, SHPS and PRPS.  The monthly inspections are held to satisfy the Department of Labour and SaskPower safety requirements as well as reducing major repairs by detecting problems early.

The secondary objective is to provide emergency and normal general elevator maintenance Work.  The Contract Administrator will determine when such repair Work is to be scheduled.

Elevator Standby may be required for the Overhaul periods at the different Sites mentioned in the Technical Specifications.  Each Site will run maintenance on their units at different times which will require elevator repair technician(s) to be on call. The schedule will be determined by the Contract Administrator, and subject to change with requirements of the overhaul schedule.

Boundary Dam and Shand Power Plants in Estevan and Poplar River Power Plant in Coronach

Project Timelines:
Maintenance Plan Execution – Timely completion of require monthly, yearly and 5 year inspections with inspection reports turned over to plants with required repairs identified
Major Project/Emergency/Overhaul Capacity – Have sufficient capacity and availability to respond during major projects, overhauls and emergency situations as per plant requirements.

Contract duration 3+1+1 optional years
Payment structure – Lump sum for monthly, unit rates for callouts or standby, 10% holdbacks apply
