Solicitation Description:
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) seeks to procure Data Acquisition System (DAS) Recorders and associated equipment. These data recorders support the COSI Signal Engineering team in troubleshooting track circuit issues. Train detection on WMATA¿s rail network is a vital function within the Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system and is achieved through fixed block track circuits. Having reliable equipment to aid in the troubleshooting and analysis of these circuits is essential to maintaining them in a State of Good Repair and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of train service.
