Sealed bids from General Contractors will be received by Henry County Board of Education

Administrative Office Annex, 396 Tomlinson Street, McDonough, Georgia 30253 until 3:00

P.M., Prevailing Time, A ugust 13, 2026, for SRO Offices - Warhawk Fieldhouse

Modifications, Henry County, Georgia. At the time and place noted above, the bids for the

Project will be publicly opened and read.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held J uly 30, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at the Henry

County Board of Education located at 396 Tomlinson Street, McDonough, Georgia.

Electronic bidding documents may be obtained at the office of the PBK Architects Georgia,

P.C., 525 East Taylor Street, P.O. Box 880, Griffin, Georgia30223. Registration for documents,

together with non-refundable deposit of $250.00 should be filed promptly with the Architects. A

share file link for accessing PDFs of bid documents will be emailed as soon as possible. Only

bids received from Contractors registered with the Architect will be accepted.

Only a bid submitted by a Bidder on record with the Architect as having received plans

and specifications from the Architect will be opened.

The contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of

60 days after time has been called on date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid

Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond

will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the

right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
