1. 1. Invitation to Proponents

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of MRI Radiologist Services for the Northern Mobile MRI, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).

The scope of the RFP includes MRI Radiology Services in acceptable Turnaround time (TAT) as per the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) standards and quality as well as the Shared Health Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Executive Committee. This mobile MRI is intended to serve an expanded clinical scope to aid Manitoba Health’s initiative in limiting patient transfers to larger referral centres.

The Supplier will work together with the Purchaser to ensure that the MRI Radiologist services meet the terms of the Agreement, and the needs of Diagnostic Imaging Operations across the province.
