Description:

The City of Hesperia’s Development Services Department (City) is seeking qualified professional firms (Consultant) to submit a proposal to provide one (1) contract planner to work on-site at City Hall for up to forty (40) per week (Monday through Friday). It should be noted that in-person services are preferred, however, the City will also consider limited remote work not to exceed one day per week, depending on the needs of the Department . Proposals shall conform to the provisions set forth herein.


The City contact (Contact) for this Request for Proposal (RFP) is the sole point of contact for this procurement.   All communication shall be in writing and submitted to the Contact as designated below.  Consultants are not permitted to communicate with other City staff or officials about this RFP, except during pre-proposal meetings and/or interviews, unless otherwise directed by the Contact.  Direct written questions and/or correspondence related to this RFP to:

Consultants interested in participating in this RFP should immediately provide the Contact with a telephone number, and an e-mail address for dissemination of addenda and/or supplemental information, as applicable.   Failure to provide said contact information may result in late notifications and/or incomplete proposals.   (See Section V for proposal submittal address).


Any questions regarding the RFP must be submitted to the Contact referenced above no later than December 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM.  Reference the RFP Number and Title when making inquiries.


The deadline for submitting a proposal 1:00 PM on December 18, 2024 . Any proposals received after this time will be returned unopened.

The City has moved to an online platform for submittal of proposals. The PUBLIC|PURCHASE online platform (Public Purchase: City of Hesperia Home Page) will be utilized for receipt of all proposals. The City will no longer accept, nor will it consider proposals that are hand delivered or mailed. All proposals must be submitted online at PUBLIC|PURCHASE prior to the noted deadline.


The deadline for submitting a proposal is 1:00 p.m. on December 18, 2024. The PUBLIC|PURCHASE website will not allow the submittal of any proposals after this deadline; therefore, late submittals will not be permitted. Proposals will be rejected if not addressed and packaged as indicated above. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will not be accepted since they do not contain original signatures
