Description
The Ministry of Health (the “Ministry”) is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents to provide clinical and technical subject matter expertise for health information and interoperability standards.
Services will include, but may not be limited to the following:

-
developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting components of provincial terminology value sets (published in the BC
Health Information and Interoperability Standards Catalogue
(the “Catalogue”) and foundational health information data standards (e.g., Clinical Information Model (CIM), Gender, Sex, Sexual Orientation (GSSO)),
-
providing input on the
pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework
(the “Framework”) Information Model and the Canadian Core Data Interoperability (CACDI) model to align with provincial digital health solution requirements and implementation needs, and
-
addressing clinical and provider issues with standards, help guide and recommend options for implementing published health information standards, participate in working groups, committees, and/or conferences promoting the adoption of provincial and pan-Canadian health information standards.
The term of this Contract is expected to be from December 16, 2024 to March 31, 2027. At the sole discretion of the Ministry, the Contract may be extended for up to two additional 2-year terms.
The approved budget for the initial term is $150,000.
