Community Center Roof Renovation

The City of Milpitas ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified vendors ("Proposer") in response to this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to perform an evaluation, design and construction support for the replacement of existing asphaltic composition roof system at Milpitas Community Center, located at 457 E. Calaveras Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035.

The selected consultant will work with Recreation & Community Service and Public Works Department to provide a complete design of the improvements and prepare Contract Documents for bid and construction. Improvements will include, but not limited to, removal and replacement of the existing roofing system to the wood sheathing including removal and replacement of the mechanical system, HVAC and associated ductwork, electrical, gas, and plumbing that are connected to the roof; assessment of roof sheathing and internal building walls and ceiling; and any repairs required to address any structural damages found. The City would like to explore renovating the kitchen area.
