Commerce Blvd & Commerce Circle Water Main Replacement

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals for the construction of Commerce Blvd & Commerce Circle Water Main Replacement will be received by The City of Pelham, Alabama (Owner) in the DSPW City Hall Conference Room in Pelham, Alabama at 3162 Pelham Parkway until 2:00 p.m., the prevailing time, on September 17th, 2026 or by mailing to Post Office Box 1479, Pelham, Alabama 35124 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities:

• ± 1,060 Feet of 8” CL350 D.I. Water Main

• ± 250 Feet of 6” CL350 D.I. Water Main

• 20 Service Reconnections

• 1 Fire Hydrant Assembly

• Miscellaneous Water Main Appurtenances

• Street Resurfacing

• Alternate Adder for 1,160 Feet of 8” D.I. and 6 additional Service

Reconnections.

Plans and Specifications may be inspected at the Water Works of the City of Pelham, AL and will be made available to prospective bidders via Alabama Graphics Digital Planroom. Digital downloads and printed copies are available for purchase through Alabama Graphics, www.algraphics.com, (205-252-8505). All Bidders must be responsible and meet the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of Bidders is not required.

This project is considered a “Public Works” project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same.

There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this Project.

This project is governed by the applicable bid laws and practices of the State of Alabama.
