The City of Claremont’s Department of Public Works is soliciting formal proposals for the purchase of one (1) new 1-Ton pickup truck for municipal use. The vehicle shall be new, current production, and fully compliant with all applicable federal and state regulations.
Attached are the specifications for the vehicle and a Bid Sheet for you to submit your proposal.
- Proposal due date is Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the Office of the City Manager, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743. Please mark "RFP - DPW - Sewer Pickup Truck" on the outside of the sealed envelope. Unsealed, late, emailed, or faxed proposals will not be accepted.
- Bid opening date is Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at 10:00 AM, located in City Council Chambers, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743.
Persons submitting proposals should note on the bid sheet any deviations from the specifications. Persons submitting should also note any options that in their opinion would be mission critical for its use in a municipal public works department. Any recommended options should be priced separately. INTRODUCTION
The City is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the furnishing and delivery of one (1) new 1-
Ton pickup truck for municipal use. The vehicle shall be new, current production, and fully compliant
with all applicable federal and state regulations.
SCOPE OF WORK
The successful proposer shall provide a complete, turnkey unit including chassis, body, powertrain,
electrical systems, lighting, controls, and all necessary accessories. The unit shall be fully assembled,
inspected, and ready for municipal service upon delivery.

There will be no equipment being traded toward the purchase of the new equipment. The
existing equipment will be sold on an auction site after delivery of new equipment.
