Upon request by the Province, sleeper trailers must arrive, and be operational at the corresponding fire base within 48 hours of said request.
Locations:
•Valleyview Fire Base - located 7.5km SSW of Valleyview along Highway 43 (55.023955,-117.3243248).
•Graham Fire Base located 38km south of Grande Prairie (54.9398106,-118.8093222).
Sleeper trailer(s) shall accommodate 8 – 10 personnel based upon single occupancy. Sleeper trailers will be dry style sleepers not requiring water or sewer connections. A certified electrician will be provided by the Province to ensure all electrical connections meet industry standards.
Trailers(s) shall adhere to all applicable codes and legislation including, but not limited to the Public Health Act.
