| Description: | The Fort Wayne - Right of Way Department is requesting quotes for vegetation management in the public right of way. The work may include but shall not be limited to: pruning branches, cutting down trees and shrubs, stump grinding, root chasing, and cutting down herbaceous material. Any vegetation that is cut down or ground down shall be removed from the site promptly after work is completed. This work may be performed in relation to other construction projects, which shall require coordination of work between said contractors. When directed, stumps and roots shall be ground at least 8 inches below ground level and 6 inches beyond the work area to allow for proper concrete setup and pouring. The work may entail pre-coordinated locations for tree removal and stump grinding, and emergency requests that require a 48-hour response time. |
