Solicitation Document Description: Design Excellence in State of Good Repair for full professional and technical architectural and engineering services for: North Toronto Memorial Arena and Larry Grossman Forest Hill Memorial Arena
Specific Conditions for Procurement: MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1        The Prime Consultant must be
•        An architectural firm holding a valid Certificate of Practice from the Ontario Architects Association (OAA),
OR
•        An engineering firm holding a valid Certificate of Authorization from the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).

1.2        Public Indoor Spectator Arena
Suppliers must provide (one) 1 project example demonstrating successful completion (i.e. substantial completion of construction phase) of one (1) Ontario Building Code (OBC) Group ‘A’ public arena with 500 person viewing capacity or higher either as a standalone arena or as a component within a public community or recreation centre, YMCA/YWCA, university, college etc.) in the last seven (7) years with project value over $5,000,000. An out–of-province arena meeting similar technical requirements would be acceptable.

.1        Suppliers are required to attend a mandatory meeting to familiarize themselves with the required Deliverables. The mandatory meeting will take place at 1:00 pm local time in an online meeting platform at in the link provided below. January 27, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Meetings will not be available at any other times.
