MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1 The Prime Consultant must be • An architectural firm holding a valid Certificate of Practice from the Ontario Architects Association (OAA), OR • An engineering firm holding a valid Certificate of Authorization from the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO). 1.2 Public Indoor Spectator Arena Suppliers must provide (one) 1 project example demonstrating successful completion (i.e. substantial completion of construction phase) of one (1) Ontario Building Code (OBC) Group ‘A’ public arena with 500 person viewing capacity or higher either as a standalone arena or as a component within a public community or recreation centre, YMCA/YWCA, university, college etc.) in the last seven (7) years with project value over $5,000,000. An out–of-province arena meeting similar technical requirements would be acceptable. |
