REQUEST FOR BID
The City of Warrensburg Fire Department is requesting bids for HAIX Airpower XR1 Pro boots.
To ensure uniform equipment is maintained, bidders shall only bid the specified equipment and
brand identified in the bid form.
The bidder shall provide cost per unit, and the City reserves the right to reduce the quantity of
the requested item(s) to remain within the project budget. The bidder shall include all
delivery/shipping cost in the bid. The bidder shall provide the process for sizing employees so
there is a low chance of errors. Pricing submitted shall remain firm and valid through October 1,
2026. The City reserves the right to place additional orders for the same or similar items at the
quoted pricing through this date. Following October 1, 2026, the City intends to purchase
additional quantities under a new budget cycle. Vendors are requested to include optional
extended pricing terms for a period of up to one (1) year beyond October 1, 2026.
Vendors shall, if possible, provide:
* A fixed price or
* A pricing structure that includes a maximum annual price increase (not to exceed ___%)
for additional purchases made after October 1, 2026
PRICE INCREASE LIMITATIONS
Any price increases after October 1, 2026, must:
* Be clearly defined in the Vendor's proposal
* Not exceed the maximum percentage stated in the Vendor's response
* Be accompanied, upon request, by documentation supporting the increase (e.g.,
manufacturer cost changes)
RIGHT TO REBID / TERMINATION
If the Vendor is unable to honor the proposed extended pricing or pricing increase limitations,
the Agency reserves the right to:
* Decline further purchases under this agreement, and/or
* Issue a new Request for Bid (RFB) without penalty or obligation
NO PURCHASE GUARANTEE
Submission of extended pricing does not guarantee additional purchases beyond the initial
order of twenty (20) pairs. The bid shall be submitted in such form that the individual costs are
not reliant on a packaged or whole bid award. Bids may be submitted by mail or electronically in
PDF format to the addresses listed below.

The City reserves the right to select the lowest and best responsible bidder based on
consideration of all factors. The City can reject bids which are not responsible or which are in
violation of any bid requirement or are otherwise irregular. The City reserves the right to reject
any or all bids.
SPECIFICATIONS
To ensure safety compliance, all boots must possess the following features:
* Certifications: Quad-certified for NFPA 1977 (Wildland), 1999 (EMS), 1951 (USAR), and
1990/1992 (Hazmat Liquid Splash).
* Height: Minimum 9 inches.
* Material: 100% waterproof bull hide leather with Sun Reflect technology.
* Lining: CROSSTECH waterproof/breathable liner providing pathogen and chemical
resistance.
* Protection: Composite safety toe and non-metallic puncture-resistant sole.
* Features: Patented lace-in zipper system for quick entry/exit and HAIX Climate System
for temperature regulation.
QUANTITY AND SIZING REQUIREMENTS
Vendors should provide a total price for 20 pairs.
