Request for Qualifications - On-Call Materials Testing / Engineering Services

Project Description: Through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Draper City intends to select a qualified Engineering and/or Materials Testing Firm(s) to provide materials testing, inspection, quality assurance, and engineering consulting services on an as-needed basis described herein for, initially, a thirty-six (36) month period. This service period can optionally be renewed in writing for up to two (2) twelve (12) month periods, for a total of 5 years. Based on evaluation of the RFQs, Draper City may choose, at its discretion, to award to multiple Engineering Services / Testing Firms an on-going contract. All work contracted to complete is to be done as described in the RFQ and Draper City specifications.

Bid documents and specifications will be posted to the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P), PURCHASING.UTAH.GOV / Bonfire on or before THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9TH, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
The Engineering Division will receive electronic responses on PURCHASING.UTAH.GOV until 2:00PM on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23RD, 2025. Responses received after this time will not be accepted.
Responses will be opened by Draper City staff and will be reviewed. The representatives identified on the selected and approved proposal(s) will be notified within 7 days that the City would like to enter an agreement.
Questions concerning the RFQ, scope of work, response submittal, or process should be directed to us electronically through U3P before 2:00PM on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22ND, 2025.
The City is not responsible for expenses incurred prior to award by the City Council. Draper City reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive any irregularities, informalities, or technicalities deemed in the best interest of the City.
