his Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Ground Grid Testing, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Choose an item”).
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
The Contractor shall perform the following testing at various substations and switching stations throughout Saskatchewan:
• Ground Grid Impedance Testing
• Soil Resistivity Testing
• Step & Touch Potential Testing
Testing shall be performed during the 2026FY maintenance season (April, 2025 to March, 2026) at the stations listed in Appendix A – Technical Specifications. To ensure the test results are valid, testing must not be performed when the ground is frozen and should be performed in warm and dry conditions (summer or fall months recommended).
